Aqua Jack (アクアジャック) is a shooter game released in 1990 for Arcades. This game is a prequel to The Ninja Warriors, featuring Banglar reprising his role as the main villain.
Gameplay[]
In Aqua Jack players control a hovercraft piloted by the two unnamed heroes, with the camera set behind it. The joystick is used to move the craft left and right and to control a reticule to aim at enemies. Once the reticule is over an enemy it will lock the craft's aim onto it temporarily, allowing the player to shoot it down. The first button is used to shoot, the second to jump and the third one to fire a screen-clearing missile which comes in limited quantity.
Story[]
The last transmission faded, then fell silent... "Extraterrestrial"... "Mind control"... It didn't make much sense. Something extraordinary, perhaps frightening was unfolding on the other side of the globe and all communication was cut off. That last transmission was all we had to go on and it sounded like a warning... In response, the military employed its new and still experimental assault vehicle, codenamed Aqua Jack!
Take the controls and launch the world's most advanced hovercraft. Invade the enemy's camps and destroy their operation. Stop the extraterrestrial visitor whose mind control techniques have already taken over an entire army.
